Its cost per bit, small size, Flash technology independence, and high data throughput make it ideal for embedded applications like set-top boxes, digital cameras/camcorders, digital TVs, and a variety other consumer products. The nonvolatile e.MMC draws no power to maintain stored data, delivers high performance across a wide range of operating temperatures, and resists shock and vibration disruption.
